A drawing of Europa seated on Jupiter in the guise of a bull, surrounded by maidens; amoretti fly above with flowers. A copy or pastiche from one of the versions of Paolo Veronese's painting of the subject. It is closest to that now in the Palazzo Ducale, Venice, and appears to be the work of a Venetian artist of the eighteenth century.

Listed in George III’s Inventory A, c.1800, p. 59, ‘Titiano Paolo Veronese e Scuola Veneziana’, among ‘29. to 42. Of Paolo Veronese and Carlo Cagliari.’
