A drawing of a cityscape of imaginary Italianate buildings set behind a partially-ruined fountain from which water gushes into a broken walled pool. In the right foreground a small sailing boat, with a number of figures, is being rowed away to the right. To the left of the fountain some other small sailing-craft are moored beneath the fortifiications of the imaginary city.
