A drawing of a woman seated before a fire, in a large kitchen at night. A man is eating a pancake in the corner on the left. Signed and dated lower left: Mv Musscher / 1667. RCIN 906520, 906524 are rare early drawings done in the style of Van Musscher's master, Adriaen van Ostade.

First recorded in a Royal Collection inventory of c.1810 (Inv. A, p. 118: '14. Two of which are by A: Van: Ostade, and the others by imitators of him')
