A sheet of studies: the central drawing shows Anthony seated, facing right, reading at a desk, with the Christ Child who appears to him carrying an orb and standing on the book which he has been reading. In the top left corner is a detail of the saint's tonsured head; to the right is a detail study of his hands. In the lower area is a sketch of drapery, and another of the profile of the Child's face. Inscribed, centre right; 62.
