A study for a painting of the figure of the Madonna, half-length, with her hands together in prayer. Below is a separate study of the arms. The sheet has been squared for enlargement. Several autograph paintings of this type of Madonna have been identified, the finest of which is in the Pinacoteca Comunale, Cesena. A study of hands, RCIN 906055, is also connected with this painting.
