A sheet of studies probably copied from a range of sources; the soldier's arm bitten by a woman's head is a copy from Marcantonio's engraving after Bandinelli of the Massacre of the Innocents (Bartsch, XIV, p. 21, 21). The principal figure is sub-Parmigianino in style.
