A drawing of a domed hall with pairs of marble columns in the foreground, and a frieze of statues in niches in the circular space beyond. Part of a sculptural group can be seen on the extreme left. Inscribed on the verso: No. 8 JS.
The stage represents a domed area like the Pantheon in front of which stretches a colonnaded room. See also RCIN 905886.Provenance
