This is one of three drawings (RCIN 905854, 905853, and 905850) in exactly the same spirit as two drawings by the architect Filippo Juvarra for Alessandro Scarlatti's opera Ciro in the Victoria and Albert Museum sketchbook, which also shows palms and pines.Provenance
