A design for a reliquary with two putti sitting on a casket, supporting an oval frame decorated with palm leaves. The top of the drawing is restored. See also RCIN 905611.
Provenance
Probably acquired by George III in 1762 as part of the collection of Cardinal Alessandro Albani; first recorded in a Royal Collection inventory of c.1810 (Inv. A, p. 114: 'Of Cielings and Church as well as other Architectural Ornaments')
