A design for an altar frontal showing The Virgin and Child in Glory, adored by angels. The arms of Max Gandolf Kuenburg, Archbishop of Salzburg, are flanked by twin angelic caryatids on the left. Inscribed below: 3º B and 2º A.

Probably acquired by George III in 1762 as part of the collection of Cardinal Alessandro Albani; first recorded in a Royal Collection inventory of c.1800-1820 (Inv. A, p. 114, as by Bernini: among twenty designs 'Of Cielings and Church as well as other Architectural Ornaments')
