A martyr kneeling before an altar c. 1670

A drawing of the interior of a church with a priest kneeling before the altar, while an angel hands him the palm of martyrdom. On the right two men run away in terror. The inscription on the verso, only partly legible, is a fragment of a letter dated 1670. The style of the drawing fits well with this dating.
