A study of the head of a youth, looking to the right. Laid down on a George III folio sheet with wash-line border. Close in manner to Annibale Carracci, and inscribed on the George III mount 'Di Badalocchio', but the handling of the chalk looks significantly later (post-Guercino?). Another study of a head on the verso of the sheet, in pen and ink, can be discerned when the sheet is held to the light.
