St Bruno points to a painting of the Host surrounded by clouds and cherubs' heads. A study for Baldi's fresco of c.1684 in the Chapel of St Bruno, in the Cathedral of Segni, to the south-east of Rome, as identified by V. Casale, 'Alcune precisazioni sui disegni di Lazzaro Baldi', Prospettiva 1983 (33-36), pp. 262-75.
