A portrait of a man with long hair c. 1660-80
-
A portrait drawing of the head and shoulders of a young man with long curling hair. This is related to Maratta's type of painted portrait, but is probably by Jacob Ferdinand Voet, who practised this manner in Rome in the 1660s and 1670s.
Provenance
Probably acquired by George III in 1762 as part of the collection of Cardinal Alessandro Albani
