A portrait drawing of a woman, half length, with her head turned slightly to the right. She wears a high lace collar and buttoned bodice. It is laid down so that it is impossible to read the inscription which partly shows through from the verso.
Provenance
Probably acquired by George III in 1762 as part of the collection of Cardinal Alessandro Albani; first recorded in a Royal Collection inventory of c.1810
