A drawing of a monk reading from a book over the figure of a possessed man, who is supported by a bearded figure. A small winged devil, fleeing the body of the possessed man, is sketched in chalk above them. Three other figures are watching on, among the columns and pilasters of an imposing classical building. Corresponds with a painting by Farinati in San Giovanni, Piacenza, dated 1597. Inscribed at lower left, in the 'Reliable Windsor Venetian hand', ‘Di P. Farinato'.
