Figure studies 1575 - 1600
-
A sheet of figure studies, the most detailed of which is a figure seen from behind, possibly holding a standard. The two sketches on the right appear to be copies from figures from Michelangelo’s Last Judgement fresco in the Sistine Chapel. Inscribed at upper centre in a hand of the seventeenth century, ‘Palma’.
