Circle of Francesco Bassano (1549-92)

Description

The right half of a composition of the Israelites gathering Manna in the desert. The composition is obviously Bassanesque and presumably reproduces a work by one of the Bassani, probably Francesco, though it does not correspond with the painting of the subject at Ham House (National Trust collection). The left part of the same composition is at RCIN 904782.
