-
A drawing of the saints gathered amidst clouds; in the centre of the upper half is the Holy Trinity; above is God the Father, and below him the Holy Ghost in the form of a dove; at the bottom is God the Son in the form of a lamb; they are flanked at the top by angels, and below by the prophets, incuding Noah and Moses. In the lower half are several groups of evangelists and other saints; in the left foreground is St John, with St Andrew behind him, and St Luke, and on the right St Paul and St Peter. Inscribed lower centre: N.17., and lower left: N 160. RCIN 904750 and 904752 are probably designs for engravings (perhaps for a Passion series) which were either never executed or are not known today.
