A drawing of Micah standing, full length, in a landscape with the towns in the distance. He is dressed in a tunic and cloak , supporting a book on his left hip with his hand. A viol rests on the ground beside him on the left. Inscribed below: . MICHEAS . 10. This drawing is from a series of thirty four scenes from the Old Testament which, with the exception of RCIN 904742, served as preparatory drawings for 33 of the 39 engravings in reverse by Johannes Sadeler the Elder (Hollstein , XXI, pp.96-7, nos.72-110), designed to illustrate L.Hillesemius, Sacrarum Antiquitatum (Antwerp, 1577).
