A drawing after the allegorical figure of Charity with five infants, from Raphael's tempera grassa painting of the Baglioni predella in the Vatican Gallery, Rome; circular format with a frame of wreaths. As part of the predella beneath the altarpiece of the Deposition of Christ, this panel probably occupied the central position, with Hope on the left and Faith on the right. See RCIN 904332, 904333.

Probably acquired by George III in 1762 as part of the collection of Cardinal Alessandro Albani; first recorded in a Royal Collection inventory of c.1810 (Inv. A, p. 109: 'A Charity. Faith & Hope in rounds')
