A drawing after the figures of two youths, from the tapestry of the Presentation in the Temple, designed by Raphael, hanging in the Scuola nuova, Vatican, Rome. These young attendants in ornate robes, walk to the left as they accompany the hight priest carrying gifts. See also RCIN 904300, 904310, 904311.

Probably acquired by George III in 1762 as part of the collection of Cardinal Alessandro Albani; first recorded in a Royal Collection inventory of c.1810 (Inv. A, p. 109: 'Two from the Presentation at the Temple')
