An angel c.1600-25
-
The head and shoulders of an angel, copied from Correggio's Rest on the Flight into Egypt in the Galleria Nazionale, Parma. The drawing comes from the Maratti volumes, but the technique suggests one of the Procaccini; Röttgen (note on mount, undated) proposed Giulio Cesare Procaccini.
