A drawing after a winged figure seated on a globe. This is probably an allegorical figure of Fame, connected with the fresco in the Loggia di Raffaello, Vatican, Rome. See also RCIN 904292, 904210.

Probably acquired by George III in 1762 as part of the collection of Cardinal Alessandro Albani; first recorded in a Royal Collection inventory of c.1810 (Inv. A, p. 108: 'An Angel sitting on the Globe')
