A drawing of the Virgin kneeling at a prie-dieu, being addressed by the archangel supported upon a cloud, who points to the dove symbolizing the Holy Spirit. This is a finished studio variant of the original engraving by Maratta. The poses of the Virgin and the angel differ slightly from the engraving.
