A drawing of the head and shoulders of a woman gazing upwards. This is a study for the woman next to King David for the fresco of St Joseph in Glory, in the Capella Alaleona, church of S. Isidoro, Rome. See also RCIN 904164, 904165.

Probably acquired by George III in 1762 as part of the collection of Cardinal Alessandro Albani; first recorded in a Royal Collection inventory of c.1810 (Inv. A, p. 107: one of eight 'Study's of Heads')
