Studies of the heads of three women, one of them veiled, and of a child. These are studies for the Madonna of the Rosary, in the Oratorio di S Cita, Palermo. See also RCIN 904106.

Probably acquired by George III in 1762 as part of the collection of Cardinal Alessandro Albani; first recorded in a Royal Collection inventory of c.1810 (Inv. A, p. 107: amongst fourteen 'Study's of Heads')
