A drawing of Perseus slaying the sea monster, lower right; with Andromeda standing centre left; with two river gods reclining to the left and right; with a group of female figures among trees above. Inscribed on the mount: Del Canuti.
This and the previous drawing, RCIN 903620, are designs for fountains comparable to the Fontaine des Muses and the Fontaine de Persée et d'Andromède designed by Charles Lebrun.Provenance
