A drawing of a river landscape with several fishing boats, one of which is moored by the foreground bank with figures engaged in preparing the vessel; with a small boat on the bank to the left; with a squat building on the opposite bank.

Probably acquired by George III from the collection of Consul Joseph Smith, c.1762; first recorded in a Royal Collection inventory of c.1800-20 (Inventory A, p.116: 'Paesi di Maestri Bolognese'; '8 of Millanese, the Scholar of Guido')
