A drawing of five standing bishop saints, all wearing mitres, two holding croziers. The drawing is an unused study for Reni's frescoed scenes on the underside of the arches above the lunettes in the Cappella Paolina, in Santa Maria Maggiore, Rome. Reni's frescoes were executed in 1610-12, as part of a decorative scheme coordinated by the Cavaliere d'Arpino. For other drawings for the scheme see RCIN 903408, 903466.
