A drawing of the head of a woman, profile to right, looking down; in the manner of a Madonna. Kurz (in K(B)) suggested this might be an original by Reni, but this cannot be correct.

Listed in George III’s Inventory A, c.1800-20: p. 79, ‘Teste di Guido. Tom. 1’, among ’51 Heads, as Studies for various Pictures amongst which are some exceeding fine Drawings as large as life, all by Guido Rheni, Bolognese’.
