A drawing of the head of a man, wearing a hat (a biretta?), looking to the right. From the Reni sequence, but much closer to Cavedone in style.

Listed in George III’s Inventory A, c.1800-20: p. 79, ‘Teste di Guido. Tom. 1’, among ’51 Heads, as Studies for various Pictures amongst which are some exceeding fine Drawings as large as life, all by Guido Rheni, Bolognese’.
