A drawing after Guido Reni's so-called bust of Seneca, now in Museo Nazionale di Palazzo Venezia, Rome. The copy is probably Bolognese, of the late seventeenth century or early eighteenth century, not far from Creti. Other drawings from a cast of the bust, from the studio of Domenichino, are at RCINs 900013, 900015-16, 900148, 900150, 900152; another is at 905165.

Listed in George III’s Inventory A, c.1800-20: p. 79, ‘Teste di Guido. Tom. 1’, among ’51 Heads, as Studies for various Pictures amongst which are some exceeding fine Drawings as large as life, all by Guido Rheni, Bolognese’.
