A drawing of the head of Christ, looking up, with the Crown of Thorns. A later copy after a drawing by Reni in coloured chalks in the Pinacoteca, Bologna.
A coloured stipple etching after this drawing by Francesco Bartolozzi served as the frontispiece to John Chamberlaine's Original Designs of the Most Celebrated Masters ... in His Majesty's Collection, London 1812.

Listed in George III’s Inventory A, c.1800-20: p. 79, ‘Teste di Guido. Tom. 1’, among ’51 Heads, as Studies for various Pictures amongst which are some exceeding fine Drawings as large as life, all by Guido Rheni, Bolognese’.
