An offset of a drawing of two putti, three quarter length: the one on the right, nude and facing the viewer, points to the right with his right hand whilst raising drapery over his head with his left hand; on the left the other putto, with his back turned, holds the same drapery across his body and turns his head in profile to the left. This is an offset of RCIN 902385, which is related to The Toilet of Venus, Goethe Academy, Renaissance, California.

Benedetto and Cesare Gennari; from whose descendants purchased by Richard Dalton for George III, c.1758-63; first recorded in a Royal Collection inventory of c.1800-1820 (Inv.A, p.70: 'The offtrack of the two Boys in TOM I. Page 12. Engrav'd by Bartolozzi in England.')
