A full-length composition drawing in which St Helen kneels on the left with her arms flung out to the side; on the right a woman sits upon a bier having been revived by the cross, which is held over her body and which she embraces; the Cross is supported by two men; in the centre background is a bishop, and a radiance appears to descend from the sky. A study for the altarpiece of the same subject, S. Lazzaro dei Mendicanti, Venice.
