A lithographic facsimile of a drawing now in the Albertina, Vienna (inv.no.14414), previously attributed to Giulio Campi. The drawing is now thought to be a copy after the fresco Moses strikes the rock at Horeb painted by the workshop of Raphael (c.1517-19) in the vault of the eighth bay of the Raphael Loggia in the Vatican. Lettered with the names of the printmaker and printer, and attribution of the composition to Campi. Published in N. Between 1829 and 1834 the lithographic printers Mansfeld and Company, who were based in Vienna, published two volumes of lithographic copies after drawings then in the collection of Archduke Charles of Austria, Duke of Teschen; volume one contained drawings attributed to the Italian school, and volume two the German and Flemish school.
