A photograph of a drawing now in the Musée du Louvre, Paris (inv. no.4324). The drawing has been described as a preparatory study, or a copy after such, by the workshop of Raphael for one of the monochromes painted in the Sala di Costantino in the Vatican. Scholars have often attributed the drawing to Francesco Penni.
