A print reproducing a Pope (Alexander I or Sylvester I?) enthroned between the allegorical figures of Faith and Religion, painted on the left of the fresco of The Battle of Constantine at the Milvian Bridge, executed by Raphael's workshop in the Sala di Costantino in the Vatican between 1520 and 1524. Lettered with production details. On Fabriano watermarked paper, annotated in pencil on both sides. With the blind stamp of the Calcografia Regia di Roma at lower right (Lugt 2144; applied to prints published after 1871). Not in Ruland (1876).
