A photograph of a fragment of the original cartoon used for the fresco of The Battle of Constantine at the Milvian Bridge now in the Ambrosiana, Milan. The fresco was painted by Raphael's workshop in the Sala di Costantino in the Vatican (1520-24) after designs by the master. The photographed cartoon fragment is generally attributed to Giulio Romano.
