A print reproducing the head of the man bending over a slate board in the lower right corner of Raphael's School of Athens, shown as he draws a geometric figure with the aid of a compass. Lettered with production details. The figure is identified on the print as Archimedes. It is now generally thought that he is the Greek mathematician Euclid, depicted in the likeness of the architect Donato Bramante.
