Description

A print reproducing the head of the man crowned with wine-leaves, resting a book on a marble plinth in the lower left corner of Raphael's fresco of The School of Athens, painted in c.1509-10 in the Stanza della Segnatura in the Vatican. Lettered with Raphael's name and engraver's monogram.
