A print after a copy of the Saint Michael Vanquishing Satan, a painting attributed to Raphael and his workshop (1518) now in the Musée du Louvre, Paris (inv. no.610). The copy reproduced in this print has been wrongly attributed on plate to Raphael and was then in the Aguado Gallery, Paris. Lettered with production details. With the publisher's blind stamp (not in Lugt). Published in Galerie Aguado, choix des principaux tableaux de la Galerie de Mr le Marquis de las Marismas del Guadalquivir, Paris 1839-47. A photograph of the original painting in the Louvre at RCIN 851490.
