A print after the so-called Decemviri Altarpiece, a painting by Perugino now in the Pinacoteca Vaticana, Vatican City (inv. no.224). Lettered with production details and Bible quote. With publisher's blind stamp at lower right (not in Lugt).
Showing the Virgin seating on a throne and holding the Child on her knee, flanked by the patron saints of Perugia: Saints Hercolanus and Constantius on the left, and Saints Lawrence and Louis of Toulouse on the right.Provenance
