A photograph of the so-called Madonna of the Blue Diadem, a painting generally attributed to Raphael’s workshop (possibly G.F. Penni or Giulio Romano) housed in the Musée du Louvre, Paris (inv. no.603). The painting has long been attributed to Raphael, an opinion also shared by Ruland (1876).
