A photograph of a drawing catalogued by Ruland (1876) as being then in the collection of the late August Grahl (1791-1868), Dresden. The drawing reproduces the composition of Raphael’s so-called Garvagh Madonna (also known as Aldobrandini Madonna) now in the National Gallery, London (inv. no.NG 744).
