A photograph of a drawing by Cesare da Sesto (1492-1523) now in the British Museum, London (inv. no.1862,1011.196r), formerly attributed to Leonardo da Vinci. The sketches show similarities in composition to Raphael’s so-called Alba Madonna, a painting now in the National Gallery of Art, Washington DC (inv. no.1937.1.24; see RCIN 850853.a for a photograph of the painting).
