A photograph of a drawing now in the Biblioteca Ambrosiana, Milan (inv. no.20).

The drawing is similar in composition to an engraving by Giulio Bonasone, thought to be based upon a design by Raphael for his so-called Canigiani Holy Family, a painting now in the Alte Pinakothek, Munich (inv. no.WA 476; see RCIN 850756 for a photograph of it).
