A marble talisman comprising a long marble stone, with a hole drilled into one end and a piece of string (strung with black beads) tied through it.
Provenance
Found on the battlefield of Kampala (Natal), Zululand, 1879. Collected by Princess Marie Louise of Schleswig-Holstein (Princess Aribert of Anhalt), granddaughter of Queen Victoria, March-May 1899. Presented to the Osborne House Museum in 1900.
