The youth, chariot and 4 horses falling from sky; Zeus above astride eagle, arm raised with thunderbolt; below: 3 Heliades in attitudes of lamentation, the river god reclining. Inscribed MICH.ANG.FLOR.INV.

Provenance

Previously in the collection of Sir Mark Masterman Sykes (Lugt 1897: 'MMS In[?] Aen Vico'); his sale (Sotheby, 29 March 1824), fourth day, lot 450, where purchased by 'Heber'.
